MAS students
Aug. 12th, 2003 06:23 pmSince I have not been given verbal nor written confirmation from most of you on whether you've understood your project. I would like everyone to use this post to pick group times to meet within the library and/or post questions they may have about this assignment. This is so I can verify that each group has come together before the end of this week.
I expect team captains to coordinate their groups in time to have their first meeting by Sunday of this week.
Group 4, Kurt has offered to take students to investigate the Catholic Church's practice in regards to mutants. I strongly suggest that you take him up on his offer. That is all for now.

I was waiting on officially taking Kurt up on that until I'd at least heard from somebody in my group. I'll be sending dupe press gangs around to collect them sometime tomorrow, if they haven't gotten back to me by then. :)
Hear that, guys? Terry, I just need one of me to pick you up . . .

I have not heard from our captain and I did not want to step on anyone's toes.
Alex? Paige? How do we want to get together to do this?
I think over cookies and hot cocoa would be good, but I am having an unhealthy craving for chocolate this week.

I was waiting for our team leader as well. It seems he is busy.
I will make myself free for whatever time we come up with. I'll even brew up some of that hot chocolate for you.

I'm sorry, my mind has been on other things. Great team leader I am... Any time you gals are free is fine with me.
And I'm sure I can convince Lorna to help me make some cookies for us. It's a for a good cause...

Cookies, if you insist but you're getting real study food, too. Brains do not run on sugar alone.

oh fine, if you insist. I was convinced teenagers could do anything with the right amount of sugar...

Very true but the crash after the sugar wears off isn't pretty. Therefore, you'll eat real food and like it.
Because I do insist.

The boy who lives next to my parents in France is convinced that American food is all beef, gravy, and chocolate.
He was really upset to find that America has no chocolate tea.
Was that too surreal?

But that is where you are wrong! We do have chocolate tea, but it's usually mixed with something else.
Like "Chocolate Vanilla Raspberry Mint Mango" tea.
Oh, America.

I'm well aware of your group meeting this evening, Kitty. But sadly, your group was the only one to say so. This post was not directed at you, Sarah, or Rahne, but to some of your fellow classmates who've lacked the motivation to start their work.

I ran into Bobby this morning and started him on the library, and asked Kurt about talking to his priest--haven't seen Terry, though, or heard from her, but I'm going to ambush her as soon as she pops her head out of hiding. Man, this leadership thing is tough.
