I thought discussing the boundaries of a prank and taking things too far was explained in depth this week. But, whoever thought it might be amusing to enter my room and handle my personal items, will need to procure a means off schoolgrounds to ensure their safety.

Not only am I irritated that someone entered my quarters without my permission, which is a crime upon itself. I honestly wasn't aware of such a transgression until I discovered someone had changed the language parameters on the laptop Hank customized for me. And how did I find out the parameters had been changed, you ask. When I was greeted by a very loud, very annoying Mariachi band.

Let's say, it took me fifteen minutes alone to figure out how to access Hank's modifications and then another twenty to actually turn that racket off.

But, I still can't shut off the voice-recognition, which also happens to be stuck in Spanish. Instead of hearing, "Good Evening, Elisabeth," I'm force to listen to a rather exuberant man, screaming. "Buenos Noches, Senorita Braddock." And I've been listening to this man transcribe my journal logs and emails for five hours now.

It seems that my Spanish skills are so rusty that while asking for my upcoming schedule for the week, the computer interprets that I'm asking for the daily forecast in Guatemala.

I'm doomed. Hank is still out of town and I have no clue as to when he'll return. I refuse to suffer like this at three in the morning and for the time being, I'm stuffing this thing in the hamper and going to bed.

Just in case you don't think I will find those responsibile. Believe me, it is only a matter of time.

Ma'am, I swear it wasn't me. I don't do that stuff anymore.

I'm no computer whiz but maybe all they did was change the program settings and the event sounds instead of deleting the old ones, and I know where to look for those, if you want me to try.

Or if you want help tracking down the person that did do it, I know I'm probably the top suspect but I'd like the chance to clear my name.

And you can read my mind as much as you want to make sure it wasn't me. Or have Ms. Frost do it. Or both of you. Whatever it takes. Because, dammit, I feel like I'm being set up, and while I deserve a lot of grief for what I did, I know better now.

It's ok, Jamie. I'll go up and check on her now and see what I can do for her computer. The Spanish won't be a problem for me anyway. ;)

And if you want I can probably figure out how to change it today... Although where the Mariachi band would have come from I have no idea...

Turning of Voice Rec shouldn't be that hard, and assuming I can find the language controls I ought to be able to get it back to normal in 20 min or so, tops.
